KPMG and RocaJunyent awarded ICF legal services contract

The international professional services firm KPMG and the Barcelona law firm RocaJunyent have won the tender organised by the Institut Català de Finances (ICF) to provide specialised legal advice to the Catalan government’s financial institution and its group of companies. The financial institution of the Generalitat, led by its CEO Vanessa Servera (pictured), awards the two consultancy firms the million-dollar tender to give rigour and transparency to its legal advice.

The Catalan ICO tender, which has an estimated value of €1.95 million for a period of two years, is divided into four lots, of which two went to KPMG Abogados and two to RocaJunyent. The first firm has been awarded the lot for general legal advice in public law, for 121,000 euros, and for banking law, competition and EU law, and commercial and corporate law, for 484,000 euros.

For its side, RocaJunyent has obtained the legal advice on venture capital, for 242,000 euros, and the regulatory compliance lot, for 96,800 euros. The base budget for the tender was 943,800 euros including VAT. The contract provides for the possibility of three extensions of one year each.
