Albors Galiano Portales appoints three new partners
Albors Galiano Portales has appointed Maider Arrieta, Jaime Albors and Carlos Sanlorenzo as partners of the firm.
Maider Arrieta
Maider Arrieta has a proven experience and special dedication to all types of maritime law matters, and insurance and reinsurance from a procedural perspective.
She holds a law degree from the University of Deusto (2000), a Master’s degree in Maritime Law from Cardiff University (2001) and has taken courses related to foreign trade at the Bilbao Chamber of Commerce.
Jaime Albors
Jaime Albors works as a Spanish Lawyer and as a Solicitor in England and Wales, in both jurisdictions, also in matters related to maritime law, with a special focus on ship construction and financing, charterparties, commodities, P&I, marine pollution, and insurance and reinsurance.
He holds a law degree from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (2011), a Master in Maritime Law (LLM) from Swansea University (2013) with distinction and extraordinary award from the Institute of Shipping and Trade Law (IISTL).
Carlos Sanlorenzo
Carlos Sanlorenzo, in the context of maritime law, is a reference in the field of recreational boating, large yachts, and also in the field of commercial ports and marinas. He will combine his work in the firm with his occupation in the National Association of Nautical Companies, ANEN.
He holds a degree in Law from the University of Valencia (2001), a master’s degree in Maritime Law and Maritime Business and Port Management (Shipping Business) from the Nautical Faculty of Barcelona (UPC) and a master’s degree in Management of Nautical Port Facilities.
Maider, Jaime and Carlos combine their work in the firm with teaching activities related to maritime and insurance law.
