Grant Thornton International elects Ramón Galcerán as new elected member of its Board of Directors
Grant Thornton International has appointed Ramón Galcerán, president of Grant Thornton in Spain, as a new elected member of its Governing Council, the highest global leadership and representation body of the professional services firm, for the next four years.

The responsibilities that Ramón Galcerán will take part in over the coming years include, among others: strategic direction and global policy decisions; oversight of the implementation of the global strategy; oversight of issues affecting the acceptance or exclusion of member firms; approval of budgets and financial oversight of the global network; quality and risk management of the network; as well as Grant Thornton’s technology and innovation strategy worldwide.

Ramón Galcerán
Ramón Galcerán was elected Executive Chairman of Grant Thornton in Spain in 2020. He holds a degree in Business Administration and Management and an MBA from ESADE and the Community of European Management School (CEMS). He also holds a postgraduate degree in leadership from Harvard University. He is a member of the Association of Economists of Catalonia and founder of its Working Group on Mergers and Acquisitions and collaborates with associations such as ACG or Change2Grow, among others. His nearly 30 years of experience are distributed in providing advice to clients from various sectors in mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and support in transactions and valuations.
