GA_P appoints three new partners

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has appointed Ana Martínez-Pina, Constantino Pérez-Salgado and Luis López as partners of Banking, Corporate and Litigation respectively at the ordinary meeting held on Wednesday 20 December. The new appointments reflect the Law Firm’s commitment to in-house talent.

Ana Martínez-Pina, until now of counsel in charge of Financial Regulatory, leads the Regulatory Finance and Insurance area, and the Sustainability practice, focusing mainly on the area of sustainable finance. As Vice-Chair of the CNMV, she chaired, among others, the Financial Reporting Standing Committee of the European Securities Markets Authority (ESMA) as well as its Coordination Network on Sustainability. She was also Chair of the Instituto de Contabilidad y Auditoría de Cuentas (ICAC) from 2012 to 2016.

Constantino Pérez Salgado, until now of counsel to the corporate department, heads the Latin America group. His appointment highlights the importance for the Law Firm of building relationships and growing its business in the region. He specialises in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, financing and private equity transactions. He works on a recurring basis with companies, financial institutions and investment funds on transactions in Spain, Latin America and the United States.

Finally, Luis López, formerly a senior associate in the Litigation and Arbitration practice, has extensive experience in domestic and international commercial and investment arbitration. He also specialises in advising on civil and commercial litigation related to infrastructure and construction, energy, corporate disputes, agency and distribution agreements, among others.
