Pérez-Llorca advises on the purchase of Balat by Tecno Fast Group

Pérez-Llorca has advised Tecno Fast Group, Chilean company leader in design, manufacture, assembly, rental and sale of modular spaces in its acquisition of 85% of the Navarre company Balat, to consolidate its entry into the European market of modular construction.

After receiving authorization from the National Markets and Competition Commission (CNMC) on November 20, both companies today formalized the transaction for 68 million euros by signing the transfer of 85% of the capital of Balat, a Navarre-based company specializing in the manufacture of prefabricated modules, to the South American firm. The remaining 15% will remain in the hands of the Baranda family, its founder and until now the main shareholder.

Tecno Fast has had operations in Spain since 2022, when it acquired 100% of Grupo ALCO, a company based in Barcelona and also dedicated to the manufacture and rental of modular solutions, as well as the rental of machinery and equipment for construction.
