Deloitte Legal and Cuatrecasas advise on the sale of AMIC Seguros Generales to GES Group

Deloitte Legal and Cuatrecasas have advised on the sale of AMIC Seguros Generales, to Grupo GES and on the formalization of an alliance with this group for the distribution of non-life insurance.

Once the transaction is completed, subject to the required authorization from the Directorate General of Insurance and Pension Funds, AMIC will become part of the GES Group. For its part, PSN will begin to market the auto, multi-risk and CR insurance of GES Seguros y Reaseguros, the death insurance of Almudena Compañía de Seguros y Reaseguros and the insurance solutions of AMIC.

Deloitte Legal has advised GES Group with a team formed by the corporate lawyers: Ignacio Echenagusia (partner), Guillermo Donadeu (senior associate) and María Teresa Sanahuja (associate). Cuatrecasas has avised Previsión Sanitaria Nacional, PSN, Mutua de Seguros y Reaseguros a Prima Fija with a team formed by Ruth Duque and Fernando Mínguez, partners of the corporate group (financial and insurance services) have led the operation, with the participation of the lawyers of the same group Celia Zafra, Julián Ruan and Mariano Núñez. Rebeca Rodríguez, partner of the tax area, and Alejandro Negro and Ana Sánchez, counsel and associate, respectively, of the intellectual and industrial property area, have also participated.
