Abertis acquires Autovía del Camino from UBS: advisors

This transaction strengthens the Group’s position in the Spanish market, a strategic region for Abertis, and will be operated by Autopistas, its subsidiary in Spain, taking advantage of operational synergies.
Autovía del Camino will contribute to Abertis’ growth strategy. The transaction consolidates Abertis’ new growth phase, which began last July with the new agreement for the development of the company signed between shareholders ACS and Mundys. This strategy has already led to the acquisition of new toll roads in the United States and Puerto Rico, and demonstrates its capacity to continue to expand Abertis’ assets and maintain a balanced portfolio with a resilient economy and solid regulatory frameworks.
