Hafesa Group hires Carlos Corredera as general counsel
Grupo Hafesa, a holding company dedicated to the marketing and distribution of oil products, has added Carlos Corredera to its management team as general counsel. With this appointment, added to the previous incorporations of Álvaro Sanz Pita, as corporate finance director, and Javier del Amo Verdura, as technical director, the Group aims to fulfill its plans for growth and transformation towards a multi-energy company.
Carlos Corredera
Carlos Corredera, a graduate of the Pompeu Fabra University and Master in Legal Advisory Services from the Instituto de Estudios Cajasol, will be in charge of the Group’s legal advisory services. He joins from Grenergy Renovables, where he also held the position of head of legal.
In his professional career he has worked in large companies such as Acciona, in the position of Legal Director of the Engineering and R&D Department, and in law firms such as Lámbal Abogados. Carlos Corredera has national and international experience in advising in the fields of energy, construction and engineering, participating in large projects with multinationals of great prestige.
Legal department
The approach of the legal department will focus on a clear prominence of this department in business decision making, and will focus on analyzing, identifying and mitigating all risks arising from the activity in the company’s business lines. The purpose is to implement a high degree of exigency with respect to risk control and legal advice for the Group, taking into account the complexity of the administrative environment in which they operate, as well as the challenges facing the sector.
