Deloitte Legal incorporates Luis Collado as new partner of the M&A practice with an end-to-end approach. He will also hold the position of head of the Legal practice in the Southern Zone. Previously, secretary of the board of directors of the technology company Seabery.
Luis Collado
Originally from Garrigues, Luis has 20 years of experience advising companies in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and other corporate transactions. He holds a Law Degree from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), a Master in Stock Exchanges and Financial Markets from the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles (IEB) and a Master in Senior Management AD-1 from San Telmo Business School.
After starting his professional career in the capital markets department of the European Investment Bank (EIB), Luis specialized mainly in the financial area, both in recurrent legal advice and in legal advice in traditional structured finance transactions (corporate and project finance), and in new alternative financing structures, including alternative capital markets (BME Growth).
In the corporate field, he has acted as advisor to the governing bodies of a large number of companies, including international groups, and has held the position of Secretary of the Board of Directors of several companies, in regulated areas and in different productive sectors. In the area of commercial contracts, he has extensive experience in the negotiation and formalization of all types of commercial contracts, particularly in the area of financial contracts and investment rounds.
