KPMG Abogados advises on the acquisition of Elsamex
KPMG Abogados has advised Ascendi, the Portuguese toll road operation platform owned by the French fund Ardian, performing financial and tax buy-side due diligence and providing investment structuring services in connection with the acquisition of a majority stake in the Spanish road maintenance and conservation company Elsamex Gestión de Infraestructuras.
The work has had a strong multidisciplinary profile, involving teams from both Spain and Portugal. Carlos Marín (partner), Aida Sobral (director), Esther Martín and Amanda Ramajo (senior managers) and María Pedraza and Laura Salvador (associates) participated on behalf of the M&A tax team. Miguel Ángel Castello (partner) led the transaction services team, which also included Tineke Bartelet (senior manager).
