Caballero & Fuentes Abogados promotes Lucía Muñoz as new partner

Caballero & Fuentes Abogados, led by Rodrigo Caballero, has promoted lawyer Lucía Muñoz, who has been linked to the firm since 2016, to partner and will lead the public law area.

Muñoz, with more than 10 years of professional experience in the sector, joined Caballero & Fuentes Abogados as a member of the contentious-administrative and tax department. Since then, the lawyer, with a degree in Law from the University of Castilla-La Mancha, has accumulated experience in trial representation and defense, having participated in a multitude of processes of varying complexity.

Muñoz takes over the public law department as partner and head of department. “As partner in charge of the public law area, my main purpose is to provide a quality service, rigorous and adapted to the needs of each case, in order to consolidate this area of practice and the firm itself as a reference firm”, explains the lawyer in relation to her new position.

Professional challenge

With a Master’s Degree in urban planning from the International University of La Rioja and another in Tax and Tax Consultancy from the Catholic University of Valencia and Wolters Kluwer, Muñoz is “grateful for this new professional challenge” and, at the same time, “with the responsibility and commitment to repay the trust” that those responsible for the firm have placed in her.

Rodrigo Caballero, managing partner, highlights how his specialization goes back to the origins of Caballero & Fuentes Abogados, since, as Caballero recalls, “in Public and Regulatory Law, the firm advises on relevant investment projects, in addition to being responsible for the legal defense of important City Councils in Castilla-La Mancha, Madrid and Andalusia”.
