Youandlaw advises on €1.2m financing round of Floatech
Youandlaw has advised Floatech on a €1.2 million financing round to strengthen its innovative proposition
Fernando Celaya, Richard Schäufele and Juan José Vilatela lead this innovation project that developed a new method to synthesize macroscopic nanowire networks at the IMDEA Materials Institute in Madrid, known for its outstanding contribution to the synthesis of floating catalysts, and that today has received the confidence of Big Sur Ventures and Grow Venture Partners. Likewise, the Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico y la Innovación (Center for Technological Development and Innovation) has joined this operation that has reached 1.2 million euros.
Floatech is an innovative Spanish project with a unique nanostructured silicon anode process, a cost-effective and scalable process to produce independent silicon nanowire (SiNW) sheets. This eliminates costly raw material dispersions and the use of substrates.
In this line, Casado has indicated that “our specialty with the most innovative projects and our understanding of the needs of investors and entrepreneurs is based on many years of experience in the sector. We are a firm that enjoys being a part of the gear that leads to the success of innovation projects; we like to be infected by the enthusiasm of those who have undertaken an idea, and that is why we work with our clients as a trusted partner with whom to share interests and concerns”.
In this round of financing, the company has received the advice of lawyers Pablo Casado, Isabel Gonzalo and Icíar Zapatero.
