Financecommunity Week is LC Publishing Group’s event that brings together the Italian and international financial community in Milan. Today was the third day, held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Milan.
THIRD DAY – Wednesday, November 15
Real estate and sustainable finance: these were the two topics that held the spotlight in the third morning of Financecommunity Week 2023. The morning’s conference, introduced (and concluded) by speeches from Patrizia Liguti and Federico Vanetti, partners at Chiomenti, was divided into two segments, both moderated by Nicola Di Molfetta, editor-in-chief of Financecommunity and MAG.
The first session featured as speakers Giuseppe Bonomi, ceo of Genova High Tech; Massimo Moretti, general manager of CDS Holding; Pietro Piciocchi, deputy mayor and alderman for budget and public works of the City of Genoa; and Nicola Porcaro, head of structured finance at Bper Banca.
The second session, followed by the customary coffee break, featured instead Simone Bernard De La Gatinais, partner at Chiomenti; Francesco Mandruzzato, investment management director at Lendlease; Pietro Mazzi, head of real estate at Intesa Sanpaolo – Imi Cib; and Matteo Minardi, head of real estate Italy and managing director at Ardian.
Partially concurrent with the second session was a family business-themed event, “Family business: corporate structure & governance to access risk capital.” Under the moderation of Letizia Ceriani, Financecommunity.it journalist, Carolina Avanzini, head of partnership of Elite – Euronext Group; Roberta Laveneziana, listing account manager mid&small caps of Borsa Italiana; Francesco Nobili and Roberta Pierantoni, partners of Biscozzi Nobili Piazza; and Mario Sabelli, cfo of ACBC, discussed the topic.
In the afternoon, it was the turn of two particularly interesting panels.
The first was titled “Private clients: the toolbox for generational transitions,” and featured Claudio Berretti, general manager of Tamburi Investment Partners; Ignazio Castiglioni, co-founder and ceo of Hat sgr; Alfredo Craca, Francesco Di Carlo and Francesco Mantegazza, co-managing partners of Fivelex; Angela Gamba, family officer; Alessandra Losito, head of wealth management Italy at Pictet; and Angelo Viganò, head of Mediobanca Private Banking.
The other panel discussion focused instead on “The importance of supply chain analysis in m&a transactions,” and was moderated by Michela Cannovale, journalist for Financecommunity.it. Here are the participants: Silvia Baroffio, principal of Accuracy; Alessandro Catelli, sustainability risk & compliance director of Arcese Group; Edoardo Disetti, legal director head of m&a and corporate transactions at MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company; Roberto Ippolito, managing director of Clessidra Capital Credit sgr; Elisa Liberale, head of legal at Microsoft Italy; Davide Palazzo, senior manager at Accuracy; and Matteo Pozzi, criminal defense lawyer at Isolabella law firm.
