Malaga hosts the Congress of the European Federation

The European Federation of Bars and Law Societies (Fédération des Barreaux d’Europe – FBE) has elected the Malaga Bar Association as the venue for its next annual congress, which will take place in the city in June 2024.

This event, which is held in different European cities every year, offers a unique platform to address common problems, share information and experiences and promote the defence of human rights in a global context. On this occasion, therefore, it falls to the Malaga Bar Association to organise an event of reference for the legal sector on an international level.

The federation represents more than 200 European Bars and has more than one million members. Its mission is to promote the rule of law, the supremacy of the law and the independence of the judiciary. It also represents a fundamental guide to the core values that underpin the legal system in Europe and around the world.
