Bird & Bird advises on a €36,5m sale & leaseback transaction by Domus VI
Bird & Bird has advised DomusVI in a sale & leaseback transaction involving five nursing homes, for a valuation of 36.5 million euros. Wellder, the socimi owned by Renta Corporación and the Dutch fund APG, has acquired these assets located in Galicia and Castilla León.
DomusVi, the leading operator of senior centers in Spain, has sold the assets in a sale & leaseback transaction, so that it will continue to operate them and pay rent, and will use the proceeds from the sale of the properties for new construction and improvements.
