BDO Abogados appoints new partner

BDO has appointed Javier Gómez-Ferrer as partner of BDO Abogados. This promotion is part of the reinforcement of BDO’s management structure, with the appointment of five new partners and five new equity partners.

Javier Gómez-Ferrer has been a State Attorney in Valencia since 2006 and has combined his position with that of Chief State Attorney in Teruel. Likewise, throughout his professional career, he has coordinated the criminal area in the Valencian Community, representing the State Administration and, in particular, the AEAT in numerous criminal proceedings.

Since joining BDO in 2019, Javier Gómez-Ferrer has assumed the management of the legal area of the Firm’s office in Valencia, with special focus on the Public and Economic Criminal areas. In addition, he leads the Legal Operations & Innovation area, assisting in the transformation processes of corporate legal counsel.

The appointments

BDO thus reinforces the number of partners in Spain, which increases to 70 in total. BDO has more than 1,400 professionals in Spain and more than 111,300 worldwide. BDO has maintained an annual growth rate of over 10% in recent years, based on all the different lines of advisory services offered by the Firm and on the appointment of new partners to reinforce the business lines that are growing at a steady pace.
