CMS advises on the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of SGEL Libros
CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo has advised Logista Libros, a subsidiary of the IBEX 35 listed company Compañía de Distribución Integral Logista Holdings, in the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of SGEL Libros, a company engaged in the distribution, purchase and sale and publishing of books and other publications.
With this strategic acquisition, Logista Libros strengthens its leadership as the largest independent book distributor in Spain with the incorporation of important publishing funds, also adding the distribution of educational books to its catalog. In fiscal 2022, SGEL Libros recorded sales of €50 million.

This transaction has been coordinated by Rafael Suárez de Lezo, president of the firm and led by Ignacio Zarzalejos, partner in the corporate / M&A area and by Ana Vázquez, associate in the same area.
Other participants were Elena Esparza, Cristina Ridruejo and Inés Alcañiz from the labour team, Carlos Vérgez and Eduardo Crespo from the competition team.
