Youandlaw advises on the €1M financing round of Recovo
Youandlaw, law firm specialized in accompanying entrepreneurs and investors in their venture capital operations, has advised La Bolsa Social on the €1M financing round of the circular fashion platform Recovo.
This is a circular economy project that promotes sustainability in the textile sector, through the recovery of fabrics for brands and designers. In this way, they can be reused and reduce the environmental impact with a second life and the creation of unique pieces.
The project has managed to recover 1.7 million meters of fabrics for almost 800 clients, including About You, Polopiqué, Brownie, Mango, Pronovias, Sepiia, SKFK, Intexteis, Persiskin, Laagam, JC Pajares, Deadwood and Alfie Paris. And is that these entrepreneurs have grown by 800% in 2022 compared to 2021 and already manage to operate in 16 countries of the European Union. In addition, as they have reported, with this latest capital injection they will strengthen their technological tool and their international expansion.
La Bolsa Social has been a key player in this financing round within its social impact crowfunding platform, which seeks to promote ethical finance and democratize impact investment. The lawyers responsible for the advice have been founding partner Gonzalo de Ulloa, in addition to Marta Fabios, Jaime Rivera, Razvan Iacob and Iciar Zapatero.
