Andersen integrates Aceta Legal in the Seville office and incorporates new tax partner

Andersen has integrated the firm Aceta Estudio Jurídico y Tributario in the Seville office, a team led by Carlos Álvarez Zapata, who joins as partner to strengthen the tax area. The firm thus adds five new professionals by incorporating Lorena Sánchez, Jesús Algarrada, Esther Masegosa and Ana Piñero.

Carlos Álvarez Zapata has a degree in Business Administration and Management from the Pablo de Olavide University in Seville and a Master’s Degree in Tax Consultancy from the Cajasol Institute of Legal and Business Studies. He has a professional career of more than 15 years of experience, during which he founded and developed the firm Aceta, specialized in Tax, for five years. Mr. Álvarez specializes in tax advice for family businesses, as well as tax planning and corporate restructuring operations.

The managing partners of Andersen in Spain, José Vicente Morote and Íñigo Rodríguez-Sastre, have emphasized that “this integration follows the firm’s strategy of developing each practice area in all offices to serve clients with maximum proximity and knowledge of the local market”. Specifically, they continued, “these new additions will allow us to continue promoting an area of special relevance in the line of growth and specialization of the firm, such as tax, to continue advancing in our goal of becoming the main legal reference in the Andalusian capital”.

“From Andersen, we have been committed to Andalusia since the firm landed in Spain and in 2018 we established our headquarters in Seville, since we consider Andalusia to be one of the regions with the greatest dynamism and economic momentum in the country,” highlighted José Vicente Morote and Íñigo Rodríguez-Sastre. “The result has reinforced this conviction and this has led us to redouble our commitment to Andalusia this 2023”, said the managing partners, who explained that this year, as part of the expansion strategy, the firm opened new offices in Málaga to strengthen its presence in the south and have a broad legal coverage in the autonomy. Likewise, after five years of presence in Seville, the Firm has moved its offices to the emblematic Columbus building, with new facilities that “are allowing us to respond to the demands of our clients and to grow quantitatively and qualitatively, incorporating new professionals, such as Carlos Álvarez Zapata and his team, in search of excellence in our advice”, detailed the managing partners of Andersen in Iberia.
