KWM advise on the launch of €85m Qualitas Funds VI
King & Wood Mallesons has advised Qualitas Funds (Qualitas) on the launch of its new investment vehicle Qualitas Funds VI, which has a target size of €250 million.
The KWM team was led by partner Isabel Rodríguez, and also had the participation of associates Enrique Torné and Paolo Caretta Cortegiani.
This is Qualitas’ sixth fund of funds with a strategy of investing in mid-sized companies alongside leading managers in the lower mid-market segment in Europe and the US. It aims to invest in 15 funds during the next 12 months.
The new vehicle already has an investment capacity of 85 million euros and will formalise the first investments (commitments) in the coming weeks.
