Pérez-Llorca advises on the acquisition of Amfresh
Pérez-Llorca has advised Álvaro Muñoz Beraza and Bluestone Food & Tech on the acquisition of Amfresh, an international benchmark in agribusiness, leader in the vegetable varieties sector.
Amfresh, with a presence in a large number of countries, has more than 20 operational centres and 2,500 hectares of production located on 3 continents and has recently carried out a campaign of acquisitions that have allowed it to grow strongly in America, Europe and Asia.
One of these acquisitions was the Californian company IFG, made last year together with the EQT and PSP funds. This US giant specialises in the production and marketing of citrus fruits, grapes, tropical fruits and flowers, an operation in which the Firm also participated by advising the Spanish multinational.
The Pérez-Llorca team was composed of Iván Delgado, corporate partner, José Ramón Vizcaino, tax partner, Jaime de Blas, competition partner, Juan Jiménez-Laiglesia, competition partner, and Iciar de Lorenzo, corporate lawyer.
