Ecija advises on the production of “Vacaciones de Verano”
Ecija has advised Bowfinger International Pictures on the production of “Vacaciones de Verano”, a film directed by Santiago Segura and featuring actors such as Santiago Segura himself, Leo Harlem, Patricia Conde, Cristina Gallego, Marta González de Vega and children Sirena Segura, Javier García and Hugo Simón, among others.
Ecija’s TMT team, led by partners Elena Ordúñez and Carmen Aguado and lawyers Alejandro Díaz and Clara Collado, has participated in the legal advice on the film, accompanying the production company throughout the production process, from the hiring of the author and artistic team, to the closing of the agreements for the marketing and financing of the work.
All of this is led by the producer and executive producer of the film, María Luisa Gutierrez, founding partner and CEO of Bowfinger International Pictures, president of the Spanish Film Association (AECINE) and winner of important awards in the audiovisual industry in recent years such as the Fotogramas de Plata or the Comscore Courage Award.
“Vacaciones de Verano” is a co-production between Bowfinger International Pictures and Chapuzas Audiovisuales, released in cinemas on July 6th, 2023. Domestic cinema distribution will be carried out by Sony Pictures Entertainment Iberia and the film has the participation of Netflix and Atresmedia, in association with Mogambo.
