KWM advises on the structuring and close of Enion I Energy Fund
King & Wood Mallesons has advised Enion Venture Partners on the structuring and close of Enion I Energy Fund, having reached investment commitments of 31 million euros.
The team of KWM lawyers that has participated in this project has been led by the partner and head of the funds team Isabel Rodríguez, who has had the collaboration of the associate Enrique Torné.
The fund has among its investors the ICO, the ICF, the Idae, Sodena, KIC InnoEnergy, Suma Capital and corporations such as Power Electronics, Sorigué and several family offices.
The strategy of this new vehicle is focused on investing in emerging cleantech companies with projects in areas such as sustainable mobility, circular economy, sustainable energy sources, green hydrogen, digitalization of the energy system, energy storage and distributed and flexible energy generation.
