Cuatrecasas advises on APSL acquisition

Cuatrecasas has advised the german multinational Nagarro, a global leader in digital engineering, on the acquisition of the spanish technology company Advanced Programming Solutions (APSL), one of the main providers of comprehensive software development services, cloud systems and data analytics in Spain, with a strong international presence.

The firm team involved in the transaction included german desk experts Kai Christian Fischer, M&A partner; Gregor Erlebach, labor and employment counsel; and lawyers Marc Amorós, tax, and Paula Martínez, M&A. Counsel Alejandro Negro advised on intellectual property and data protection matters.

With this operation, Nagarro takes control of a company that has a background of more than thirteen years in the sector and a highly specialized team of more than a hundred professionals, which has based its success on the use of open source tools for the development of its own business management solutions in the cloud. It also offers a fully personalized treatment for each client in all its services, which it provides through the use of technologies such as AI, Cloud, Big Data and IoT, following the latest global market trends.
