Abreu Advogados advises on the purchase of Casa de Rodas
Abreu Advogados has advised Symington Family Estates, a firm that produces port wines, in the purchase of Casa de Rodas, one of the historic properties of the Monção and Melgaço region, which includes a 17th century manor house and 27.4 hectares of vineyard, planted exclusively with the Alvarinho grape variety.
Symington Family Estates had a turnover last year of €105 million and is one of Portugal’s leading wine producers, owning and managing four major historic Port houses: Graham’s, Cockburn’s, Dow’s and Warre’s.
The team from Abreu Advogados advising Symington Family Estates was formed by the partner, Pedro Pessanha (pictured right), with the participation of Diogo Pessanha (pictured left), professional partner, and Benedita Pessanha, a senior associate lawyer.
