Andersen launches a ‘China desk’
Andersen Iberia has just launched a China desk and will also be the European coordinator of this initiative, channelling the opportunities that arise in this area for European countries.
Coordinated by Juan Ignacio Alonso Dregi (pictured), partner in Andersen’s Barcelona office, together with associate Wenbo Zhou, the China desk will advise both Chinese clients in their expansion processes in Spain and Europe, and European clients in their business projects in mainland China or China Mainland (including Hong Kong and Macau).
Andersen’s China desk has a multidisciplinary team of professionals, both European and Chinese, specialised in different legal areas, including legal, tax, litigation and labour law, among others. In addition, they have extensive experience in different sectors.
Moreover, it will offer all types of legal advice, ranging from the incorporation of subsidiaries, tax planning, employment advice, litigation or intellectual and industrial property, among others. In addition, it will be able to recommend service providers and offer coordination to eliminate possible linguistic and cultural difficulties that companies may encounter in their expansion processes.
