Jones Day promotes new financial markets partner
Jones Day has promoted Iván Martín-Barbón (pictured) as a new financial markets partner. The appointment is part of the firm’s promotion of 45 new partners globally, effective 1 january 2023.
Martín-Barbón holds a degree in law and business administration from Nebrija University and has worked at firms such as Freshfields and Allen & Overy.
The new partner has more than 18 years of experience advising global clients, such as credit institutions, investment funds and private equities, on real estate asset finance transactions, structured financings, debt sales and purchases and securitisations.
