Mangopay hires new general counsel 

Mangopay has hired Olympe Leflambe (pictured) as its new general counsel, legal & compliance. 

Mangopay is a payment solutions provider for marketplaces and platforms. By this newly created position, the firm underlines its commitment to innovating in a regulated environment, in order to not only meet its customers and prospects’ new uses and needs, but also to ensure the scale-up offers a best-in-class customer experience that is compliant with legal obligations. 

With more than 20 years of experience in the payment industry, Olympe will provide business-enabling legal and compliance guidance. She will be in charge of providing strategic advice to the company’s senior leadership team as the company makes moves to strengthen its commitment to regulatory compliance and engage with policymakers and regulators globally. 

Before joining Mangopay, Olympe was senior legal director at eBay. She also worked at Amazon as senior corporate counsel, where she provided support and strategic advice on a wide range of commercial and regulatory matters relating to Amazon EU payments businesses.
