TTR and Datasite publish ‘Top Women Legal and Financial Advisors M&A Spain

The report ‘Top Women in the Legal and Financial Sector in M&A Advisory in Spain in the first half of 2022, conducted by Transactional Track Record (TTR) and in alliance with Datasite, makes visible the work of women in the legal and financial sector in large M&A transactions through the publication of the female ranking in the Spanish M&A market in 2022.

The growing awareness of the gender gap in the Spanish M&A market has prompted platforms such as TTR and Datasite to adopt critical analyses that highlight the advantages of diversity in such a competitive environment as the legal and financial sector.

This is why, in order to recognise the work of women in the professional field of M&A, and in the absence of legal and financial rankings of female participation in this market, TTR in collaboration with Datasite, have prepared a specific ranking of the leading female advisors in M&A in the first half of 2022, both in terms of capital raised, as well as the number of women, both in the financial sector and in the category of partners, counsels and rising stars for the legal sector.

According to data from the platform’s ranking of legal advisors, in the Partners & Counsels category, the female legal industry in the Spanish M&A market is led in 2022, by amount, by Teresa Méndez Flórez, from Allen & Overy, with capital raised of 4.668 billion euros, and by Mónica Martín de Vidales, from Garrigues, with capital raised of 2.021 billion euros.
