CIAM creates the first ‘Friends of CIAM’ network group
The Madrid International Arbitration Centre (CIAM) has launched its first network group, known as ‘Friends of CIAM’. This network joins international professionals from the sector with the common interest of promoting arbitration.
The main aim of ‘Friends of CIAM’ is to promote arbitration through a network of professionals from the arbitration community outside Spain. The first groups of this network have already been set up in Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Uruguay and Venezuela.
The particularity of this network is that they are professionals with roots in the region where they work, so they know the community and understand the local arbitration culture. Also, ‘Friends of CIAM’ takes into account the element of diversity as a key for its development, in terms of gender, geographical origin, age and professional specialisation.
