Garrigues: Frangoni to become the head of the New York office
According to rumours that reached Iberian Laywer Carla Frangoni (pictured), who is the responsible of Garrigues’ Italian Desk, would become also the head of the law firm’s office in New York. She would take up this additional role from July 1.
Frangoni joined the law firm in November 2000 and since 2011 she is a partner in Garrigues’ San Sebastián Corporate/Commercial Department. She has experience in the corporate/commercial area, having taken part in numerous domestic and international transactions. Among others, she specializes in the following practice areas: company law, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, commercial contracts.
Moreover, she is a lecturer in International Private Law (International Contracts) at the Law School of the Universidad de Deusto. She also is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences organized by the Firm and various specialist centers.
Degree in Law from Universidad de Valladolid and Doctorate in Jurisprudence from Universitá degli Studi di Bologna.
She has researched comparative private law and contract law at UC Berkeley Law School (Boalt Hall).
