Cuatrecasas partner Ricardo Echevarría dies

Ricardo Echevarría de Rada, Cuatrecasas partner and member of its board of directors, died suddenly on Friday May 20, aged 57. Ricardo Echevarría, expert in public and private works contracts and in advising businesses from the real estate sector, was a partner at the firm for over 21 years and a member of the firm’s board of directors since June 2019.

During his many years practicing law, he participated in many transactions to sell shopping centers, office and industrial buildings, and hotel complexes. A member of the Madrid Bar Association, he also participated in different court and arbitration proceedings related to his field of specialty.

A spokesperson from the firm said: “It is with shock and deep sadness that we announce the sudden loss of our partner and friend Ricardo Echevarría de Rada. We will all sorely miss his kind demeanor, his wise advice, his calm approach to any challenge, and his frank smile. We have lost an exceptional lawyer. May he rest in peace and live long in memory.”
