Kennedys upgrades to new premises in Madrid
Global law firm Kennedys has announced an upgrade of its Madrid office with a move to new premises
Bucking the trend for downsizing, Kennedys has taken up a larger office on the fifth floor of the Castellana 40 bis, increasing its space from 1,200 sq ft to 3,000 sq ft. The office has access to a private roof terrace and the building features the highest energy efficient levels and is pre-certified gold by Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED).
The Madrid team of fifteen is led by partners Isidoro Ugena, Olivia Delagrange and Alfonso De Ramos.
The Spanish arm combines specialists in a range of sectors including insurance and reinsurance, construction and engineering, property and energy, health and social security, maritime and international trade, public, aviation, travel and tourism, and cyber claims.
Isidoro Ugena said: “Having introduced our global hybrid working policy to support our colleagues to work from home if they wish, we also want to provide a welcoming environment in which colleagues can work alongside each other and entertain our clients. Our new office will allow us to do this, and we are delighted with our new space.”

Kennedys recently announced its London office is to move into the city’s iconic Walkie-Talkie building later this year. The firm has also recently moved to bigger premises in Manchester, Melbourne and Hong Kong as well as opening new offices in Leeds, San Francisco, Oman, Tel Aviv and Perth, taking its total to 43 across the world.
