RRP strengthens team with new head of Legal Operations

RRP Advogados has announced the integration of Tiago Aires Mateus, who will be responsible for the new Legal Operations area

RRP Advogados has appointed Tiago Aires Mateus (pictured) to lead its new Legal Operations area. Mateus is chairman of the Remuneration Committee at TAP, of which he was a board member in the 2015-2017 term, is a director of the Red Cross Hospital in Lisbon, and between 2014 and 2021 he served as head of Legal and board advisor at Parpública, where he actively participated in various transactions, especially in privatisations, restructuring and the sale and purchase of shares.

With significant experience in Commercial Law, Corporate M&A, Corporate Governance, Real Estate and Labour, the lawyer has worked at PLMJ and Linklaters LLP, was general counsel of an industrial group and chief of staff of the Secretary of State for Energy.
