Squire Patton Boggs Madrid and Pérez-Llorca have advised Grupo Colisée & Adriano Care, on strategic alliance for the management of nursing homes

“The alliance between Grupo Colisée and Adriano Care is a benchmark operation in the sector both in terms of the number of residences, its complexity and the protagonists of the same”, said a spokesperson from the firm.

Grupo Colisée, a multinational of French origin, is a leader in the healthcare services sector in Europe. Adriano Care is the first Spanish REIT (Real estate investment trust) listed on BME Growth, specialised in investing in assets for the elderly and managed by Azora.

Squire Patton Boggs Madrid advised Grupo Colisée and Pérez-Llorca Barcelona advised Adriano Care. In the case of Squire Patton Boggs, the team was led by Rocío García (pictured left), Legal director, Corporate / M&A in Madrid, supported by associates Alejandra Castañeda and Mónica Sebares. The Pérez-Llorca team was led by Gerard Serra (pictured right), Corporate partner, with the support of Corporate associates Adriana Martín and Juan Oria.

Both Rocío García and Gerard Serra coincide in highlighting the effort and harmony of both teams to complete the transaction in the time required by the parties, taking into account its scope and complexity. Specifically, the management by Colisée of five residences in Madrid, Bilbao and Valencia, owned by Adriano Care, through long-term rental contracts, investment agreements by Adriano Care as well as the construction of a new residence in Madrid.
