Alier picks up Labour head partner from Ejaso
Silvia Palacios Flores, partner and head of Ejaso ETL Global Labour area, has joined Alier Abogados as a partner to lead the same area
Silvia Palacios Flores (pictured) has a Law degree from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and has been a practising lawyer since 2005. She specialises in Labour Law and Social Security.
She began her professional career as a teacher, teaching the Employment Training and Guidance module in higher level training courses.
Subsequently, after completing a Master’s degree in International Labour Law at the Sagardoy Foundation, she specialised in advising senior management personnel and providing legal advice to companies, offering her clients preventive advice on Labour relations matters, as well as legal assistance before the courts in all types of legal proceedings at all instances. She has also participated in collective dismissal processes and temporary lay-offs.
In addition, she specialises in expatriation matters and advises companies on the international relocation of their key personnel, drafting their internal policies, their individual communications to expatriates and assisting them in making decisions on the return of displaced persons.
In recent years she has also specialised in equality issues and has designed and negotiated numerous equality plans and measures, accompanying companies in their implementation, both public and private companies, specifically in the engineering, audiovisual production, consultancy, chemical, construction and commerce sectors.
Currently, she continues to develop her teaching activities in courses and conferences on Labour matters, both in companies and in associations and specialised forums. She is an Honorary Collaborator in the Master’s degree in Access to the Legal Profession at the Universidad Compluitense de Madrid, and has authored numerous publications.
