TELLES advises Metalogalva on Europoles lighting division purchase

TELLES Advogados has counselled the Portuguese metalworking company on the transnational operation

TELLES advised Metalogalva, a Portuguese metalworking company based in Trofa, on its acquisition of the lighting division of the Europoles Group in Germany, Poland and France.

Europoles Group lighting division is one of Europe’s leading producers of metal structures in the public lighting sector, with a turnover in 2020 of around €52 million.

With this significant acquisition, Metalogalva takes a leading position in the production of metal structures for public lighting in the European market, with a further four industrial units.

TELLES Advogados acted as legal counsel, which involved several consultants and multidisciplinary teams in carrying out due diligence, negotiations and closing transactions in four different European jurisdictions.
