L&W managing partner, Ignacio Gómez-Sancha, shoots COVID-19

Latham & Watkins Madrid office managing partner has launched a solidarity challenge and will donate €20k to those severely affected by this crisis

According to Worldarchery.org and, as Iberian Lawyer could confirm, Latham & Watkins Madrid office managing partner and professional archer, Ignacio Gomez-Sancha, has pledged a donation €20,000 to those who have been left without a house or food due to the outbreak, if he receives, through his Instagram account,1,000 videos of archers practicing in their own homes. He’s donating €20 for each video he receives of someone shooting at home, up to €20,000.

Ignacio Gómez-Sancha (pictured) is a very recognized archer and he has been shooting for more than three decades. He won gold in the 40+ age group at the 2018 World Archery Masters Championships in Lausanne and is a multiple national champion.

In a publicly open video post, Gómez-Sancha said two days ago “I am doing this to convey motivation so that everybody can see how many people are still training at home.”
