King & Wood Mallesons advises Silicius on real estate deal

KWM advised real estate investment trust Silicius on the acquisition of four properties in Madrid for €35 million

 

The four properties, located Los Madrazo street in Madrid, have an area of 7,466 square meters, of which 5,000 are for residential use with 25 homes.

According to the firm, this operation is part of Silicius’ growth and diversification strategy to reach the optimal size for its IPO in the coming months. The company focuses on the management of properties of different types (hotels, offices, commercial or retail) and has an asset portfolio valued at 442 million euros.

The KWM team in charge of advising Silicius was led by real estate partner José Antonio Calleja (pictured) and included senior associate Candela Escribano and associate Pablo Salamanca.
