Pinsent Masons acts for Suanfarma on Sandoz deal

Pinsent Masons’ Madrid office advised Suanfarma on the signing of a binding agreement to acquire Sandoz Industrial Products, an active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturing plant in Rovereto, Italy.

As a result of the acquisition, Grupo Suanfarma expects turnover to reach €300m by 2020.

Sandoz Industrial Products, which was part of the Novartis Group, provides a range of medicines to healthcare providers around the world.

The Pinsent Masons team included partner Antonio Sánchez Montero (pictured), senior associate Rafael Durán and lawyer Helen Stewart.
