Watson Farley & Williams advises Banco Sabadell on Renovalia project financing

Watson Farley & Williams advised Banco Sabadell on the €29.7 million financing of a Renovalia photovoltaic project in Spain. 

The Puertollano project comprises five photovoltaic plants that are being built and developed by Renovalia Energy in Ciudad Real, Spain. The financing was structured via a senior credit loan. The five plants which will have an aggregate capacity of 79.2 megawatts.

The team from the Madrid office was led by partner Rodrigo Berasategui (pictured) and included senior associate Antonio Cáneva.

Garrigues advised Renovalia Energy.
