Morais Leitão advises on Portugal’s first debt issuance in Chinese currency

Morais Leitão advised the Portuguese Treasury and Public Debt Management Agency (IGCP) on Portugal’s first issuance of debt in Chinese currency.

Portugal has issued 2 billion renminbi (equivalent to €260 million) in Panda Bonds with a yield of 4.09 per cent.

Panda bonds are debt securities issued on the Chinese market by foreign entities.
