Nexxus Iberia advised by King & Wood Mallesons on new investment vehicle

King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) advised investment fund manager Nexxus Iberia on the structuring of its new investment vehicle Nexxus Iberia Private Equity Fund I, FCR.

The new vehicle – which will focus on investing in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Latin America – will invest up to €200 million.

Nexxus Iberia is backed by Mexican venture capital fund Nexxus Capital.

The KWM team was led by partner Isabel Rodríguez, and included senior associate Ildefonso Alier and associate María de Orueta.

Rodríguez said Nexxus Capital’s entry into the Spanish market was a “clear sign of confidence” in the country’s venture capital sector.
