Garrigues real estate partner leaves for VdA

Portuguese law firm Vieira de Almeida (VdA) has recruited real estate partner Miguel Marques dos Santos from Garrigues.

 

Marques dos Santos has been head of Garrigues’ real estate and planning practice in Portugal since 2005.

His expertise includes advising on the sale and purchase of office buildings, hotels, commercial and industrial properties, as well as plots of land for real estate and tourism development.

VdA managing partner João Vieira de Almeida said the real estate sector was one of the “main engines” of the Portuguese economy and that “sustainable growth” is expected in this practice area.
