Linklaters acts for Fosun on €175m Millennium BCP deal

Linklaters’ Lisbon office advised Chinese conglomerate Fosun on the acquisition of a 16.7 per cent stake in Portuguese bank Millennium BCP.

Fosun, which reported annual revenues of €10.6 billion in 2015, paid €175 million for the stake.

Millennium BCP has approximately 2.3 million customers.

The Linklaters team advising Fosun was led by managing partner António Soares and included partner Marcos Sousa Monteiro, counsel Rui Camacho Palma, managing associates Vera Ferreira Lima and Joana Vilhena, as well as associate Mariana Serra Baptista.
