Linklaters Madrid senior partner joins CNMV as president

Linklaters’ senior partner in Madrid, Sebastián Albella Amigo, has joined the Spanish Securities and Exchange Commission (CNMV) as president.

Abella Amigo has been a partner at Linklaters since 2005.

Prior to that he was a partner at Ramón & Cajal for nine years.

The Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV) is the agency in charge of supervising and inspecting the Spanish stock markets as well as the activities of all the participants in those markets.
