Jones Day hires tax partner from Allen & Overy

Jones Day has recruited tax partner Carlos Albiñana from Allen & Overy.

 

Albiñana’s expertise includes tax advice relating to capital markets, M&A and restructuring, banking and securitization, real estate, derivatives, project finance, and asset-finance transactions.

He has represented clients from the financial, industrial, energy, telecoms and construction sectors on their tax structuring in Spain.

Mercedes Fernandez, partner-in-charge of Jones Day’s Madrid office said Albiñana will be “of great help to our M&A, banking and finance, and real estate teams”.
