Abreu Advogados integrates law firm PMBGR
Abreu Advogados has announced it has integrated 20-lawyer Lisbon firm Trocado Duräes Rocha & Associados PMBGR.
As a result of the merger, Abreu Advogados now has 29 partners and more than 200 lawyers.
Established in 1999, Trocado Duräes Rocha & Associados PMBGR was named after two of its founding partners Henrique Trocado and Manuel Durães Rocha. The other founding partner is Teresa Brito da Silva.
Trocado Duräes Rocha & Associados PMBGR is a multidisciplinary practice, which currently handles work in the following areas: civil law, commercial law, corporate law, intellectual property law, real estate and planning law, litigation and arbitration, family law, inheritance law, criminal law, administrative law, labour law, pharmaceutical law, environmental law and tax law.
Duarte de Athayde, managing partner of Abreu Advogados, said the move was “primarily intended to reinforce our capacity to deliver services, thus guaranteeing the enhancement of those areas where PMBGR enjoys experience and is reputed.”
