Arkema advised by Cuatrecasas on €485m acquisition of Den Braven

Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira advised French chemical company Arkema on the €485 million acquisition of Dutch industrial adhesives manufacturer Den Braven.

 

Cuatrecasas worked in collaboration with Dutch law firm Loyens & Loeff on the deal.

A statement said the purchase will add approximately €350 million in sales to Arkema’s balance sheet.

Arkema forecasts that the acquisition will enable the group to save nearly €30 million in costs.

The Cuatrecasas team was led by partners Alejandro Payá and João Mattamouros, and included senior associate Sandra Silveira.
