Squire Patton Boggs recruits banking partner from Broseta

Squire Patton Boggs’ Madrid office has recruited banking and finance partner Manuel Mingot from Broseta Abogados.

Mingot – whose expertise includes advising on domestic and cross-border debt restructuring, real estate finance transactions, and energy and infrastructure project finance – was previously a partner at Cuatrecasas Gonçalves Pereira.

Direct syndicated lending and acquisition finance, as well as loan portfolio disposals are among his other specialisms.

Rafael Alonso, managing partner of Squire Patton Boggs in Madrid, said: “Manuel is a well-connected and technically experienced partner who will strengthen our local financial services capability and support the continued growth of our Madrid office.

“Manuel also has particular expertise in advising clients active in the energy and infrastructure sectors. His background and skills in this field are synergistic with the work that we do locally, and through our Global Infrastructure group.”
